I apologize if I posted in the wrong section.
What I was wondering is the work flow for shooting a scenes. I saw a video clip in freshDV that shows how to shoot a with script...but I like to know what other methods are available or commonly used. For example, what is/are shooting logs and/or script logs? When I shoot one scenes with multiple takes from multiple angles, how do I mark or indicate that on my shooting logs? Basically, what I like to know is how do I go from shooting to editing in post. I want to get the process organized so that I don't spend hours and hours finding a clip or a shot. How do I indicate that a shot is great, good, not so good, and bad on a log so I can easily find it in post? And especially that now we're using SxS cards instead of tape, what are some of the ways to keep track of those files so they don't mix or keep that organized somehow.
Any opinions is appreciated.
