shooting tomorrow important question

im filming in a coffe shop. there is a small stage and my actor is giving a reading from a book. The coffee shop has a PA system. Should I mic the room nd pick up audio through PA? or should I keep the PA off and just mic the actor for clean audio and work out the effects in post?

thanks

If he does that, wouldn't he get bleed from the PA in the direct mic?
Sorry, I didn't read the original post closely enough.

If this is to be an event staged specifically for the cameras, then Oleg is quite right. Record clean dialogue through wireless or boom (as usual), using the PA and stage mic as non-functional props. PA simulation can be achieved easily enough in post-production.

If, on the other hand, you're shooting documentary footage of a live reading, then sound reinforcement will likely be there already. That was the situation I had in mind, and I appologise for the misleading advice.
