shooting the moon

here you go. This is something i shot with my vx2100, so im sure you could get something alot better without so much gain shooting with the dvx100a/b... but maybe not because the lux rating is almost the same.

edit: my settings if i remember correctly where shutter: 1/90th, f12db(maybe 9db), manual white balance. Also i have the same shot with clouds in there. so if u wanted to see that i can post a still

but anyways here:

Looks good except for the grainy black around it which can easily be replaced.
Did you zoom in digitally?

I wanna see the one with the clouds.

Nah, i didnt zoom in digitally (I never do that). I didn't like the grainy crap on the black neither but anyways that was what i got. The one with the clouds is pulled back farther and the moon is a bit blown out. The reddish tint you see in the clouds on the 2nd one i meant to do. so here you go...

That second one is really good. Nice DOF.

thanks, yeah i liked the reddish tint one more. All 3 shots work very well with what i needed for my edit. These shots were all timelapses so having the moon blown out isnt super bad for what i needed.
