Shooting small performance with 1 dvx100 tonight..

I'm shooting a band tonight at this crappy venue down south. I only have 1 dvx100 to work with, so I figure I'll just change angles in the middle of songs and whatnot. I wish I had a few of these cameras, so I could have 3 angles, and cut between them in the editing room. But that isn't an option right now. I've never shot a live performance like this before. Anyone have any advice I should keep in mind? I'm nervous, I could use some information...
Thanks

Don't be nervous! Sounds like fun. Make sure your exposure is correct and that you do a proper WB; even if the stage lighting is constantly changing do it frequently. Make sure your batteries are juiced and ready to go. Bring extra tape. Don't sweat it. Just make sure your exposure and WB are on par and you'll be stoked.

Get some ear plugs if you are going to be front and center.

Tape the sound seperately, otherwise, continuity is going to be a major problem as you change angles in the middle of a song, shots of the floor are hard to edit in "artistically", in order to keep the music playing. The sound also get's bad with the swearing as you stumble around. ;)
