Shooting scene in moving car

Avoid mid day sun. That is when your ratios from interior light to exterior is at it's worst. Work early morning late afternoon. I have been using Bardwell McAllister LED tubes for awhile now. They are very bright and quite a bit cheaper that light panels. They are the size of Flo tubes and come in various lengths starting at 12 inches. Buy a cheap cig lighter inverter and a roll of velcro and stick them anywhere. They are light and unbreakable
Very interesting. I've never seen these things Paul. How do you power the tubes and is there a wiring harness that's removable from the normal fixture like Kinos? The BM site is pretty weak: http://www.bmlighting.com/new/products/mac-tech-led/mac-tech-led-series-overview/

You can get Kino connectors from Film Tools and make your own. Or you can buy them as parts from Kino. The harnesses are very simple to make.

Talking about the B&M LED tubes, now, don't they have to have a power supply or ballast? They don't just run off 120V do they?

Good advice. However as i stated in my thread opener, there isn't a budget to go start buying things, i was asking to see if there were any suggestions as the best way to do this without have to go and spend some cash. If i did i think what you suggest is probably the best bet, but i think the examples i posted prove that this can be done mid day while having a very nice exposure inside and outside the car with some bounce and ND gels. The other benefit to this is, it doesn't matter which direction we drive our car, the bounce will always be similar and lighting continuity is much simpler.

Buy some cheap a$$ LEDS from Harbor Freight. Surely you have the budget for this?
