Shooting progressive for broadcast...

Ok, I am a bit muddy on this. Shooting in progressive mode for broadcast on tv. Local commercial, DVD, etc.
Can someone please point me in a direction that I can get the rundown on what special considerations may need to be taken into effect. I intend to shoot mostly 720p/24pn. Is it recommended to shoot a different progressive mode for output to tv, etc. I am just a bit confused by all the info I have found on this topic. Shooting progressive for what is mostly going to be viewed on interlaced ntsc tv's...
Thanks
Jason

Nothing to worry about, your NLE will sort it all out.

Film is a "progressive" medium, and film has been shown on television since the beginning of television.

720/24pN is fine, you'll eventually render out a 2:3 pulldown interlaced master for broadcast in the US.
