Shooting in A liquor Store

Why wouldn't they?

.

The whole movie is a bout a bushman trying to get rid of a coca-cola bottle because it became a trouble for his people.

There´s a whole metaphore about modern civilization around a glass bottle that could have been brandless instead. I can´t imagine why would the coca-cola executives give the Ok to use their brand during an entire film to criticize society. It was a really risky move for them.

We don´t see corporations lending their brands to tell such stories.

It's a comedy, not a documentary. Do you really think audiences who saw the movie thought about it being a metaphor for anything? I saw it in the theater when it was released and all I remember is laughing my arse off. I'm sure Coca Cola welcomed the chance to have the entirety of such a film revolve around their product.

Of course, things are a little different now...
