Shooting in 2.35 Widescreen

When shooting for 2.35 widescreen with a DVX, what do you look for when framing the shot so that you don't cut out something that you wanted to keep in there?

I'd suggest laying over a template or marking the LCD with a sharpie to guide your framing.
