Shooting for Greenscreen. 30p vs 24p?

I was wondering if there is a benefit to shooting 30p or 24p for greenscreen. Will the frame rate make any difference when you are keying and masking in post?

Are there any settings thats worth changing? (skin detail, pedal, etc?)

also, if anyone has any other suggestions, advice, and experience to offer when using the dvx100 with greenscreens and keying, i would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

Shoot at the same frame rate as the rest of the production.
Progressive is always better.
Keep you detail somewhat low so you don't get ringing around the edges.
If time permits do some basic exposure and lighting tests ahead of time.

If the entire subject is within the frame you can also shoot with the camera sideways. Just a little cheap trick to get some extra resolution out of it. I've done a bunch of green screen work this way with some pretty good results.

I had the same question too....my only thought is that it would be better to shoot 30p, so you don't have to take out the 3:2 from the 24p standard footage....

any thoughts?
