Shooting blue screen with 35mm adaptor.

It just occured to me: when shooting against a blue screen everything is great as long as the countours are sharp. However if the subject is an over the shoulder shot, and if the shoulder is out of focus, won't thet shoulder against blue screen create a mess during composing? How do you work around that problem?

I do a whole lot of green screen work and I don't see any benefit in using my Adapter for it, I guess maybe if I had multiple subjects and I wanted some shallow depth between them. What is your benefit in using your adapter for chroma key rather than the camera alone?

I shot the entire film with the adaptor. I don't want to change the look of it during blue screen shots. I am shooting two people talking in a car filmed from the side. The person talking is in focus but the foreground of the other person is soft. Now I don't know how that soft side will mix with a blue screen effect.

I find using an adapter helps sell the green screen illusion. It always seems like the real problem with green screen is that the edges and the image as a whole is too sharp. The adapter seems to help fix this and I haven't found it any more difficult to key. My suggest you do some tests for yourself and see if that's the case for you.
