I hope this is the right forum for this question. I just got my DVX100 and I have the chance to go flying and shoot some ariels!(cool) I will flying over mountains (smokey Mountains) and rural areas (neighborhoods). any advice on what type of gear I will need to get good shots i.e. lenses, filters, etc.?

try getting a polarizing lens filter, otherwise i think the DVX can handle the overwhelming mountains

sorry, not much help, just figured id give you something to look into

yes I will. I don't know if you will be allowed to open on of the sliding windows. if so then it will be have a cleaner look.

Shooting aerials isn't any different from regular shooting. Just make sure you can hold the camera steady to isolate it from the vibration of the plane. Also remember that camera movement is more apparent when you're zoomed in.
