I'm not sure where else to ask this, and documentary seems closest to wedding so here I am.
I'm wondering if anyone has any tips as far as customs and travel is concerned. Anything you can offer is welcome.
The shoot will be in a private resort. No time spent outside the resort outside of transportation from the airport. This is technically for a friend. She's compensating me for the shoot, but not really anything worth mentioning. Arrival is Thursday, Departure is 3 days later on Sunday. "Scheduled" shoot time is mostly on Saturday and a half day on Friday.
I'm fairly set on the gear, but if you're curious. We've got 2 shooters, each are packing a Manfrotto video monopod and a steadicam merlin, 2 5Dmk3's and some lenses. For audio, I'm bringing a Tascam DR-100 for recording from the DJ's soundboard, and also Rode Video Mic Pro's on the cameras. I'm trying to travel light for obvious reasons.
