Hi, Im going to film a car video like vossen wheels does

anyone tell me how they filmed the shot on 1:22 (moving on freeway, low angle on 1:30!)

I know one way: pickup truck + crane

But I dont have pickup truck, I have SUV (ML 350 ) and a infiniti G35x

any other way to do this ?

There is no safe way to do it unless you have police officers escorting the camera car and your picture vehicle. Or just do street closures...

When people shoot any sort of car commercial, the russian arm is usually a must have.

Unfortunately as you can imagine it's prohibitively expensive, but once you see it in action, you immediately understand why it is a must have. The shots you can get with it are unimaginable with anything else.

There are also camera cars from shotmaker, again...expensive.

Then finally pursuit systems has a carbon arm that you can mount a camera on the end of, and then they usually just paint out the arm.

You can also just do car rigs onto another car that then follows your picture vehicle, but again this requires police escorts as your car quickly becomes wider than a normal lane. There are so many different ways to do this, but depending on the camera it will either involve some suction cups, or a lot of speedrail.

I know these are probably all out of your reach, but I always thinks it helps to see the absolute right way to do things first and then work your way back to what you really need.

Either way, no matter what you do, as soon as you start putting cameras places that they shouldn't go, you've got to hire an experienced key grip. They'll be able to tell you exactly what you need to get to make your shot and they'll make it all a lot easier. Most importantly they'll make sure its safe.
