Other than the extrememe nervousnes that I am encountering at the moment, and until i finish this shoot, I have a good amount of faith in my abilities to light this horror/slasher/drama flick.
I am attending film school, and they have taught me a few tips on lighting for video, using work lights, bounce boards, gels, filters, mirror, cloths, and many other things you can find in any local junk yard.
I was just hoping that by posting here you will all be able to give me a few more tips of shooting this movie. Basically, being that im the DP, and basically Camera Operator, im going for a very dark, orange, red, yellow, just warm colors for the interior shots. Of course having the protagonists, covered with darkness, maybe if someone out there knows how to create a chicken coop effect, like in the Godfather, ill be glad to hear it.
Blues, will mainly be used outside, just to imitate the moon lights, and it worries me to hear that DVX 100a is not recomended at night. I dont believe the lighting will ever go below a 2 f-stop.
So any tips that can be given will be greatly appreciated, and will help my nervousnes and worry lower, just a bit

Hopefully less than a month after the shoot, the trailer should be ready. Which i will be creating as well
Im not the writer, or director, just in case anyone wanted to know.
