Shooting a documentary in a nursing home in South Korean Mountains

Has anyone produced a documentary in South Korean Mountains, please?
Filming mentally and phisically disabled residents.
Any tips would be appreciated. We plan a trip from Poland a crew of three
with a South Korean cinematographer...first ever such a venture for all of us
and such a trip. My questions / main concerns:
Gear rental / transportation (batteries etc.)
Filming permission
South Korean law peculiarities to be aware of ?

I'd say you'd have to rely on your SKorean cinematographer to stay current with all of your gear questions. And your airline and the current Polish govt tour advisaries.

Carry photostats of all your papers and don't chance or guess at anything. Have a safe trip.

Thanks a lot Raster ! I ask so I dont guess when too late ...Anyone more tips? The trip is no sooner mid-2012 so plenty of time left for much appreciated advice.
