Shooting a commercial

Hey guys!
I'm directing a commercial that's going to be on TV here in Miami. Shooting with the Red Epic. My question is do I have to shoot everything in 29.97? If so, how can I do slow motion shots (120fps) and 24fps if TV standard is 29.97?

Plenty of 23.976 material on TV - most it not all narrative TV shows, all movies, etc. 29.97 is the broadcast delivery requirement and does not mean you need to shoot at that speed. You can work at 23.976, do slomo and all, then delivery a 29.97i master with continuous 2:3 pulldown. This has been the process for decades now - even with film based productions.

Thanks for the reply Michael! :) When you say "then delivery a 29.97i master with continuous 2:3 pulldown"....how do I make this happen? I use FCP 7 btw, not sure if that helps!
