Shooting a Christmas (Holiday) rendition of 12 Days of Christmas

I'm shooting/directing a small rendition of 12 Days of Christmas for our staff holiday party and need some inspiration.

I'm going for a comic version, bad singing and all that:

Any thoughts for a simple and CHEAP set design or anything else that might make this more memorable than the usual Christmas party fare that you normally get?

Start by thinking up what your 12 gifts will be, picking well known (and amusing) things already recognisable to the staff, and each with around 5 syllables (apart from the 'partridge in a pear tree' equivalent) to fit the standard tune. You should be able to arrange them into some sort of logical sequence and that in turn will hopefully suggest locations, costumes, actors to match.
