I've recently upgraded from FCE to FCS3 and I'm trying out some of the new options I now have for shooting in PH mode on my HMC151.
The idea is that I shoot mainly in 720 25p and edit in a 720 25p timeline.
For Slo Mo I will shoot in 50p and use cinema tools to conform the footage into 25p slo mo.
Sometimes I will also want to use the 50p stuff at its normal speed. In this case I would simply use this in the 25p timeline (which gives a green render bar at the top of the timeline). Am I right in thinking when this is rendered it simply ignores every other frame? Does the frame blending option in the sequence settings have any effect on this?
