Shoot the Moon... (tonight!)

That's strange... the last couple of nights, I've noticed it's been unusually bright out with the moon. Last night at 3am I went out to have a smoke, and it was so bright that everything had very distinct shadows.

Good stuff. Breaking out the still camera tonight for sure:thumbup::thumbup:
 
It's great because after a cloudy day, they all dissapeared...

I also noted the difference, you could clearly see more light coming from the moon.

Awesome. I'll have to take my D80 out, too. Too bad I don't have an HD cam yet to get some good moon footage for safekeeping. I could probably get something pretty nice with my Brevis and 80-200. Instead, I'll be washing the dog. Because that's how parents roll on a hot Friday night.

Kidding. It does look brilliant tonight. Almost drove off the road staring at it.
 
I would have loved to get out and shoot the moon tonight, and actually had some friends who were up for the adventure too. Too bad a storm rolled in to town. We've already had some strong wind, some hail, wet snow, and plenty of rain to go around.
