Ok, so I shoot my footage in 720P AVI-100, however in oder to view it on my black-magic output device it must be in a 60 timeline. So finished editing looks great went to burn my first Blue-ray encoded (Media Encoder)with h.264 23.94 setting everything is fine but I see stuttering, so I then exported it using 60 same as my timeline in h.264. Now I have a slight audio sync issue, I tried it on my PC & MAC same results. What I noticed is if I use MPEG2 the audio and video are synced fine at 60, however the file size is much larger.

So my question is why would h.264 at 60 go out of sync with my video, I can see the file is different just by looking at the time of the sequence.

So this is my first trying to burn to a Blue-ray, what rules should I be following so I know what I should be shooting in?:undecided

Shoot, edit and export in the same format, using one of the four BD standards.

1080i/30
1080p/24
720p/60
720p/24
