Shoe Adapter Question

Hi,

Hopefully someone may be able to help me. I was planning to purchase the Cool-Lux MD-3000 shoe adapter (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=126229&is=REG&addedTroughType=categoryNavigation) but before i do, does anyone know if adapter will fit on the camera with the shotgun mic holder still attached? I have a dvx100b. It looks as if the shoe adapter has a high enough angle that it will fit with the shogtun mic holder on but i just wanted to make sure. Thanks for your help!

Hey-

I also have the DVX100B and need a good shoe adapter for my Azden SGM-1X and Bescor light. Did you get the Cool-Lux MD-3000? Did it work for you?
 
That would work, but save the money just put the Bescor on the regular shoe and use the mic mount that comes with the DVX for the mic.
