Went to power on my external monitor today while on a shoot and.....no clean HDMI signal. Closer inspection, noticed the from element appeared cracked! Obviously damaged in transit. After the panic and shock subsided, I remembered I had also packed my Zfinder, so I could at least get focus.
Although I love my monitor, I have to research other options, i.e. are there monitors that that have some type of 'shock proof' elements, so that cracking would not be an issue? (unless of course you drove over it with a tank).
