Does anyone use the RODE SM3 Shockmount? For the life of me, it will not fit in the accessory shoe on my DVX.
 
hmmmm... my baby DVX must have a birth defect- a malformed shoe. I wonder if I should try to fix it (bad idea!) or spend all kinds of dough to get it replaced by service.
 
mine didnt just slide right on, had to play with it a little bit. i assume you have tried all you can.... (might just have a small bit of metal keeping it from passing through) ...

id just double check it all before you looked into repairs.
