I need a shock mount and a boom pole for an AKG C 568 B. When I use Google I get about 100 pages of where to buy an AKG shotgun mic. Not very helpful.
I was hoping some folks here would help me out by telling me what they use if they have a similar shotgun mic. DIY stuff is appreciated as long as it does not require duct tape and/or prayers.
I read the FAQ, searched the forums for a few minutes and came up with nothing. If someone can point me in the right direction, thanks! Please don't let my first post be in vain...
PS does anyone know how this particular mic stacks up against others? I ask because I live in a small town and our music store has limited stock, so I picked it up new for around 500$ It was all they had, and it sounds pretty good to me, of course I have nothing else to compare it to other than the DVX100's built in mic, or my Shure lav. I am curious.
