Shiny Face

I was in a situation where I had no time for special ligthing. Due to some of the overhead lights, the subject I was shooting had somewhat of a nasty shine on the face. Does anyone have some advice on color correcting this problem? I will try playing around with it myself, but was wondering anyone here has a way of nailing it down?

Any help would be apreciated.

Ok zebras.

Anyway. There was basically no time to make any adjustments. Almost didn't get the video. Was hoping someone would be nice enough to touch on the color correction in FCP?

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I won't be at my home computer for a few days. When I get home I will send you a clip.

Thanks

One more thing to be a bit more specific. The white level was fine. It's just that this person was a little sweaty and had a bit of a shine.

Its going to be really difficult ill say that much. But i think what you are going to want to try and do is somehow single out the really white shine areas on the skin and somehow bring them down to match the skin around them thats not shiny.

i cant imagine this done very successfully without making the shot look like an andy warhol picture. ya know like 5 colors, or very pastelly
