Shazbot - my Xbox 360 just died :(

Right when I wanted to watch Planet Earth on HDDVD. Called Xbox and their system is down so they can't process my return order! 4 long weeks coming - anyone else feel my pain?

Red Ring of Death? Yeah I got one 2 hours into playing call of duty 4 for the first time, I was rather livid.

not to mention it was a rental game, so I had to pry open the disc tray to get the game out.

I had 3, count 'em THREE deaths on the Xbox 360 for which I sent the unit back, waited, and had it repaired twice. The first time back i got a new console. The second time they repaired the old one. The third time it died, I put it out in the garage, went to best Buy, and bought a Sony Playstation 3, which I must say has NEVER failed in hours of play.

Maybe mine got worked to hard - I do have 3 kids, but the unit did seem like a piece of ****.
 
Hopefully they are starting to figure out these problems but yes I am still po'd - Is it heat problems or just bad manufacturing?
 
ahh lame well bro theres more producing time now for yah haha im so beaten at all the games im aafraid to play mine soemtimes armed core 4 looked so cool! i got it and like died every time
in Hd too man dont feel bad i just phantom popped my microphone on the set of a shoot yesterday and now im like sorry..?

Get a flexible dryer vent. Duct tape it to the back of the 360 where the air comes out. I haven't had a single issue since doing that, and I've played Oblivion and Gears of War for 5 hours at a stretch.
