Shatter Video Transition

Guys,

Anyone know how to make the screen shatter during transition in Vegas 5.0

Thanks

Re: Shatter Video Transition

You would use several layers of the same clip and use the pan/crop bezier mask on each one to be a different shard of the glass.  Then use 3D track motion to animate the shatter.

Re: Shatter Video Transition

How about something like this?
Shatter

It was done with Boris FX and Vegas.  The 3D stuff was done in Ulead COOL 3D Production Studio, but the project was assembled in Vegas.  The shatter at the end is the Boris plug in for Vegas.  Just an idea.

cool i like it. See these ae the little extra things that vegas needs to implement in their next version.

Install the WAX App/Plugin and you get a Shatter plugin for Vegas.  A little geometric looking, but still effective.

Whenever I hear the glass shatter sound effect, I always anticipate Billy Joel's "You May Be Right." ???
