Shark - help?

I have a shot where my character is trying to climb up in a boat and a Great White tries to get her. The talent lifts her feet up just in time and her feet slides across the top of the shark head as it goes under her. Any idea how to get this shot without having to find a full size shark? THANKS

I don't have an answer, but it might be easier to just create a shark swimming under her than having her feet actually touch and slide on the shark, which will most likely require some sort of prop to look realistic.

Another way would be to use a stock clip of a shark, both under water approaching at speed and one of more shots of the fin cutting the surface. Use a series of rapid cuts to enhance the feeling of action. Have the talent heave herself up out of the water with rapid and violent motion. Very fast pacing and creative "cutting" in the edit can make it.

The idea is to have it happen extremely fast and not let the viewer "linger" on any visual for any length of time.
