Sharing 4k Footage/Media Workflow

My next project I have several VFX people (about 4 or 5) who will need to work on the footage once I edit it. We're shooting in 4k and this will be my first time dealing with files sizes this huge. All of the VFX people are in different locations (out of state and out of country). What is the best way for transferring files since online will probably not work since I'm imagining the files will be well over several GB's?

You should probably ask the people you're sending the footage to, but you will probably wind up mailing hard drives or maybe Blu-Ray data discs to your VFX vendors.

That said, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc are very simple to use and can handle very large files. You may need to buy extra capacity if you're going down this kind of file transfer route.

Or you can use a good, old fashioned ftp server. If you have your own website, you probably have an ftp server included in your hosting package.

Ok cool I have my own server and google drive but I guess I'm just not sure what to expect in terms of file size with this kind of footage...Google Drive can handle 2-4GB of data downloads? I've never uploaded or downloaded anything that big there before.
