Shall we assume that Rocket Indie is dead?.....alternatives?

I'm not sure what's going on here, dvxuser is a great website so if RI is dead wouldn't it be polite to remove it from dvxuser.com?

I'm in the market for a way to self distribute and need options, all I see is Custom fix or whatever it is, which doesn't sound that great. who else is out there?

I took the plunge with indieflix a couple of weeks ago. I only started with dvxuser yesterday, so I didn't know about rocketindie.

My feature film is going to be on indieflix.com starting on Nov. 27th, 2007.

Indieflix pays every 90 days. They pay 70%, and there is a page when you're a member with a film in distribution with them that gives you the totals of how much money you have in there.

So, we'll see how it goes. I'm holding off on my other features before I submit them. I want to know what the cash flow will be like. :bath::furious3::violin:
 
It's definitely not dead - in fact we've been busy developing other back end features for it (e.g. bulk ordering - so you can order a drop shipment of 50,100 or whatever DVDs when and if you do get bulk orders) and a whole bunch of other stuff. Clients are coming in - but the more the merrier.

Jarred is very busy with Red but he still lends his expertise here and there

p.s. we are discussing a number of streaming solutions aswell which we will bring in as soon as the technical aspects are finalised
