shaky titles on fades

I'm working on a project for school and have started putting some titles together. But whenever i render my footage and then view it on my tv monitor, the titles shake whenever they fade in or out? I have tried playing around with flicker removal and blurs, etc. but i still seem to always have shaky titles, just on the fades. Is this a common problem, does anyone have a solution?

thanks, Daniel

the only time i've seen shaky or jittery titles is when the film is still in it's 'non-rendered stage' -- let me just clarify this much: what you are saying is that you rendered your preview files from the timeline (by hitting enter) and your titles look shaky? -- or, did you just export the video as a whole and bring that back into your project and watch from there?

if it was the first i would suggest making sure that the project bar is covering the entire span of your timeline before you press enter. if it is the latter i would consider asking khmuse for some help.

I agree with Kyle. Check your render settings, if that is what you are doing (the hit enter for preview)

You could also just export that part of the project bar, and see how it looks fully render in the AVI file (or whtever format you are choosing.)

Also I have found that using Photoshop and bringing in the PSD file is also a great way to make titles. Beats the pants off fo the built in title maker in Premeire (Although I like the Scroll options in the premier title maker)

This is whats happening, I'm hitting enter and rendering all the footage on the timeline and then viewing it via firewire on an external tv monitor while it plays in premiere. The premiere monitor plays it fine, without any shake, but the tv monitor shakes when the titles fade in and out.

The on real way to test this is to go ahead a burn it to a DVD-RW, and see how it plays. (If that is going to be your target media)

It may also be an interlaced vs progressive problem.
