SGpro with Zacuto?

I've been looking for photos to show the SGpro with flip mounted on a Zacuto baseplate and riser and I can't find any. Even on Zacuto's site they dont have any SGpro rigs.

Has anybody successfully mounted a SGpro with flip on a zacuto handheld rig? I have a Canon A1.
 
Seeing as the SGpro originated from the M2 design, I am going to link to some photos of the M2 with Redrock's microX flip. Things would look similar with the Zacuto universal baseplate and Z-Riser. If you're interested in more info, feel free to email or PM me.

Unfortunately Zacuto cannot take pictures with every adapter on the market. There's quite a few! Perhaps Wayne could help facilitate a photoshoot!
 
It crossed my mind that the M2 and SGpro are similar so it would look something like that. Im just wondering as to why with all the SGpro users out there, there's not one who's using it with a Zacuto baseplate and riser. Hmmmm....

looks good. but like i said, no baseplate-riser combo. evidently that must mean everybody's satisfied with the SGrails!!!
 
The is an SGpro flip module user that lives in the same town as myself, he has the zacuto basplate and z raiser setup with his HVX200.
 
nice. thanks wayne. would be cool to see photos of SG/zacuto rigs online though. google can't even find one photo! oh by the way, when's the new sg rails coming out? same time as the blade?
 
actually peter your rig was the first I saw to use a riser with the sg flipped! haha. i think its the only one i've seen online before Carpa posted his!
 
Yeah I remember when I picked my SGpro up from wayne the first thing I said was, what do I need to do to get the flip unit the other way up :-D

Its the neatest way to go, ive seen other SGpro users put theirs back int he case and use mine because the rig is better ballenced etc etc. Much neater...

It will work on a Zacuto baseplate/Z-riser combo. I would be happy to photograph an SGpro/Zacuto config. if someone was willing to send it to me. I'd also give you a sizable discount on a Zacuto setup in exchange for allowing me to photograph your SGpro.

Totally agree. Has a little problem with the battery conector in this mode but the solution is easy.

Definitely interested in this discount except for the fact that I'm based overseas. Crap.
