SGPro rods same as standard?

[skycron]

Hi,

Is the rod system that the SGPro uses a standard 15mm system as the Brevis, Letus, etc use? As we have access to some other rod systems, we would like to be able to use those rather than have to buy the rod systems SGPro makes.

Just wondering if they are proprietary or we can just use another 15mm set of rods instead.

We've never used an adapter system on our own DVX100a, just Betacam so apologies if this sounds stupid.

They are standard 15mm rods, nothing special, except they are from England(oh,ah,wow!) lol, Have fun with your SGpro, mine should be in soon, can hardly wait!

Sweet! What's the lead time? I was planning to place the order on the 27th of January, think it would arrive by Feb 23rd?

Yes, the SGpro uses standard 15mm rods support.

The current lead time for a non flipped SGpro is 1 week.

Perfect. I will most certainly be ordering! Can't wait.
