If anyone can help here it would be great. I emailed Wayne tonight but couldn't get on the SGPro forum so I figured I would post here.
I just recieved a second hand Rev2 with a Nikon mount and the mount is not backfocusing correctly. My Nikon lenses are not quite getting to infinity even though I've reached the infinity mark on the lens. As expected I also find that my zoom lenses are not tracking focus properly as I zoom out.
Moreover the mount looks like its not on right because the little pin that holds the lens in , is on the top when the mount is screwed all the way in, instead of on the left side. Thus the lens read outs are all the way over on the right side of the camera instead of on top where you can read them easily. Also it seems like I can unscrew the Nikon mount more easily than I would have expected, but that may be normal.
Actually it looks like it might be OK if I could screw the Nikon mount in further, but i can't. I don't see any adjustment anywhere.
I understand lenses and how they are supposed to backfocus, have been doing this for many years, so please no elementary lectures. I have quite a few Nikon's that i know are correct.
This has nothing to do with focusing my HVX on the adapter, its strictly a Nikon mt back-focus issue.
Hopefully there is a simple fix for me.
Thanks ,
