SGblade Non-Flip/Flip

Ok, I've been researching how much money i'm going to have to save to buy a whole setup for an SGblade.
I cant seem to find a definitive answers on whether you NEED either a Non-Flip Tube/or a Flip module.

Do you NEED one of them to connect an SGblade to a camera?
I'm almost sure you need one or the other but i'm just looking for confirmation.
