sgblade new question

im pretty new to the video world and ive been looking at photos of sgpros and sgblades
ive noticed that the adapter is attached to the camera and then lens are attached to the adapter
does this mean that if i get a dvx100b and the sgblade ill have to get extra lens?
 
Yes and you will need to choose a lens mount for the Blade as well, Nikon, Canon etc...
Nikon mount is a good choice because there lots of Nikon lens for sale at great prices.

You will be usually needing a set of Prime lens for different angles, Close up , Medium, Wide
A good starting lens always will be 50mm 1.4 or 1.8 to just be able to learn how to use it.
Then you can get a 24mm or 28mm for wide , 85mm , 105mm for close ups etc..
