SG35 - Z1/FX-1 - First Test Footage and Pictures

Hello,
We tested the SG35 with the Sony z1 (fx-1) yesterday. We shot along Brighton sea front just after sunset to test the SG35's low light performance, which we are pleased about. Below is a short clip we put together:

We used a Nikon 50mm F1.8 lens.

What have it to do with DVX100?

This is posted because the SG35 is also a 35mm adapter for the dvx100, and this clip shows how well the unit handles in low light.

But you have used it to Sony. Whats the results with DVX?

This post would have been better suited in the Sony section of the board , but I did check out the clip and I think it looks good aside from the vignetting that's around the edges.

Silverwolf, well spoted on the vignetting. In fact, its this that im working on before releasing the dvx100 version.

phd, please check my other thread for the dvx100 footage. I will get some more dvx100 footage soon, outside footage preferably.

Could u guys do one in daylight? The footages r ready crisp. Yeah,i managed to spot a little viginetting at the bottom too..

Well spotted on the vignetting.

Its actually because of this issue that i have held back on the dvx100 orders. I have now changed the setup to avoid the problem, just now need to retest, hopefully outdoors in bright daylight.
