settings to get a high quality web movie

I have fcp studio 2. I noticed on the mac iweb sample site they have an hd looking clip of kids in the snow. I was very curious as to how they got such high quality footage in such a small file size (about 10 meg). I have some 720/30 footage I have been trying to compress but can't get near that quality. The best I was able to do is on this site:

I didn't look at your stuff, but I get good results with this recipe:

Export using QT Compression; select Broadband HIGH (or MEDIUM); under Options, Video, select Custom, and put in an aspect ratio of 480x270 (assuming you want 16:9). This will give a small good looking file.
