I'm working with a Shure FP-24 Field Mixer for the first time and would like to know the proper settings for connecting it to my DVX100A. I don't want my audio overmodulated.
Specifically, I would like to know where to set the audio levels on the DVX given that the mixer generates a 1 kHz reference tone.
Do I set my inputs to line or mic?
I'm only recording from one microphone. Should I set one track on the DVX low as a safety?
