i just bought a new editing system and am trying to figure out the best way to configure the drives.
i have two raptor (10k) 70GB drives and 4x 250 Gb drives (7.2k) set up at RAID 10. Now my question is what is the best configuration for saving my project files. should i use the raptor drives only as os drives. or should i save preview files on those and all other media in the other. the system will only be used for editing. i'm new to premiere and am used to using FCP (i've been a mac guy), so i have no idea the best way to set this up. so any advice is welcomed.
