sorry bout the downtime today, had to switch to a bigger server and lost some men during the battle.

haha just kidding, thanks for the info, I was about to have an episode because I couldn't read any HVX updates....
 
ahhh the hell is over!

I'm having an insomnia and it's been going between the bed (to try and sleep/come up with sci-fest script) and the pc (to check if dvxuser is up) for me for the past 4 hours or so (6:31 am now) :embarasse
 
Good to see it back online. I assumed the worst and thought there was some huge meltdown and all the posts were lost and we were starting from scratch.:beer:

Yeah I thought I was banned too! Then i called up a few people and told them to try and go to dvxuser.com and it didnt work for them either.
 
I think if you are banned you can still go to the site just fine -- you just can't log on anymore -- so you can see all the people inside partying and know you're no longer allowed there because you are a bad bad person :grin:
 
I was thinking that the dearly departed (aka the recently banned) had somehow done something to the server. I know the odds just aren't there, but the timing was uncanny.

I thought maybe the "F" word "S" word thread had clogged up the server with poo poo, lol.

That thread may have changed my life -- I've been in the best mood ever, all day now.
 
ha ha.. It was the last post before we shut down. Unfortunately right after that I started to install a server tool called GD that went nutso asthe server company took the server offline to do memory upgrades, when they put it back together apache was wiped out from the broken GD install.. Kinda like turning off your computer half way through burning that pirated DVD.. when the lights come on again nobody knows whats going on, and that DVD ain't gonna be playing.

ah. so good did come from that 56 page thread on poo. Glad to see I made someone happy all day :)
