Serious Problem Please Help!!

I shot a wedding entirely in 24PA with the DVX100. I captured all of it in a premiere pro 1.5 project using the standing 29.97 settings. I edited the entire wedding (took many hours) and once i finally rendered the video........it is choppy. Each video file in the project window shows up as 23.976 but after it is rendered in the timeline it is choppy. I realize now that I should have shot the wedding in 24P standard. So now i have a finished wedding that is choppy. Is there anyway I can convert this to true 29.97?

Ganny,
Did you have any luck with this? I had posted something last week about having the same problem and didn't get an answer. I'm really ticked off at Adobe for this one. They've been great in times past but this really takes the cake. I have an XL2 and the 24p just doesn't work on Premiere. I have Vegas and it looks like I'm going to try to learn it until Adobe gets their act together and since I don't care for Avid too much. Let me know if you have had any success?

Ganny,
Just tried something you might like. I had an old version of Vegas. Captured 24p in Vegas and rendered it as an AVI 29.97. Imported that into Premiere as 29.97 and exported it as 29.97 and TA DA......NOT CHOPPY AND STILL LOOKED LIKE FILM!!! So if you want to give that a shot, go to Ebay and get an old version of Vegas since you really won't be using that for editing.

That's the best thing about Vegas--it renders 24PA without any problems like Premiere does..You might be able to use a demo for vegas then send it back to premiere before the 30day trial is over..nested timelines is available now in Vegas 6.0 but this might get your wedding project done for now.
