I've searched far and wide, and can't find the solution to this.
I'm using Premiere CS6 trial 6.0.2 on Mac OS 10.8.2 with latest nvidia drivers and cuda installed. I'm trying to get an XML imported from FCP, and everytime I get the spinning beach ball and then the message "Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down." HELP!!!?!????!!!
I've tried many things, and nothing seems to do the trick.
(I'm on a mac pro 32gig Ram)
Also... I've tried importing the XML with my old iMac from 2007, and get the same problem. I've tried different drives, still the same problem.
I think it's either go to be:
(1) a setting within premiere I need to change
(2) a problem with my xml (but I doubt it because I've tried a different, very simple xml file (based on the same project) that gave me the same error)
(3) or something wrong with Premiere trial version!
UGH... frustrating
