I really enjoyed it. There aren't many good westerns being made any more. This is the best I've seen since The Proposition (an Australian western).
By the way, the cinematographer was John Toll: Seraphim Falls
The Last Samurai
Vanilla Sky
Almost Famous
The Thin Red Line
Braveheart
Legends of the Fall
I didn't like The Proposition at all. I was stoked that they made it - an Australian western!? doesn't happen! But I found the film very dissappointing on the whole, I just couldn't engage with it - which is pretty worrying considering that I'm a flim-buff and an Australian (the two demographics it was aiming for i think)
wow, The Proposition is probably my favorite film that has come out in the past couple of years, I love everything about it. As far as Seraphim Falls I thought it was good and a refreshing take on westerns, I will say that the ending of the film seemed like it ran out of gas a little bit compared to the rest of the film.
