Sequence Settings for Panasonic HDC TM700

Never worked with these cameras before and I wanted to make sure I didn't screw anything up.

We shot it 60i ( I actually am not sure how to switch these to 24p so if anyone would like to fill me in on that, I would be happy to know)
Log and Transferred the footage into FCP
Sequence settings are as follows

1920x1080 HDTV 1080i(16:9)
Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square
Field Dominance: Upper(odd)
Editing Timebase: 29.97

how does this sound? It looks pretty good, except that at one particular shot of a street sign, the V has jagged edges and I feel like it should be sharper than that.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi,

Ive been posting he same query on most forums , and the only common reply Ive got is to use Cineform for for the conversion .
i havent been able to use it yet, but it seems to work for most ppl. Let me know if you find some other option. Specially some free software .
