Sequence Settings/Compressor Question

Ok, so I shot everything in DVCPRO HD 1080i/24pa.

I imported half of the clips through Log & Transfer in FCP. These half of the clips read: DVCPRO HD 1080i 60 under item properties for compressor. The sequence settings match here at 1080i 60.

The other half of my clips were handled by my editor and they read: DVCPRO HD 1080 30p in item properties for compressor. The sequence settings do not match here.

My question is, is there any problem with having two different compressor settings on these two different groups of clips? I have FCP 6.4

I'm not sure why they would show up differently... unless your editor had 1080/30 as his easy preset perhaps?

When you lie them both onto the timeline, do they play nice/look nice? Best I can say is if it looks good go with it. If not, re-import the other clips yourself.

Thanks arges03. They do play side by side on the time line with no problem or need to render. I think it was an Easy Set-Up thing. I'm going with it...
