Sequence question

I shot all of my footage in 24PA. I just noticed after I have edited half of my feature that my sequence is set to 29.97! What do I have to do to change my sequence to 23.98? Can I just create a new sequence within my project and copy and paste my edit on there? I captured my footage at 29.97 as recommended, so will there be a problem playing footage captured at 29.97, on a 23.98 timeline? This might have been answered in a previous post, so if it is I'm sorry.

Thanks!

Configure FCP to begin with as:

In this case you've already been editing on a sequence that's not 23.98 so create a new sequence and BEFORE adding clips set fps to 23.98
Try dragging the clips from 29.97 to the 23.98 sequence.
Check the clips in the bin. Expand the bin window so you can check fps, etc.
Are they 23.98 or 29.97?

The clips were captured at 29.97, but my sequence was set at 29.97 also not 23.98. The fps will change after I drag the clips onto the new sequence?

You shot 24pa which means that you should be converting to 23.98 if you want the smoothest motion. If there's not much action you may not notice it.
Easiest way to do that is to remove advanced pulldown on capture. That way everything is done and you don't have to worry about it.
In your case you've captured a 29.97 so you'd have to select the clips in hte bin go to tools -> remove pulldown menu.
Now they're at 23.98
If you just drag 29.97 footage to a 23.98 timeline it will convert it to that fps but not in a good way.
Make a copy of your project before you start making major changes just in case you need to return to it.

OK yeah I did the advanced pulldown on capture, OK I see what you are saying, so know they should be at 23.98. If you capture at 29.97 as recommended here on this site with the advanced pulldown removal, than your clips should be converted to 23.98. I will check to make sure my clips are now at 23.98 fps. Where do I expand the bin window, never tried that before, to see the properties of the clips.
