Sequence progressive or interlaced?

Should my compression setting be at interlaced or progressive if we shot with the dvx at 24p and the capture preset. We are adding some graphic from after effects too.

Not a DVX guy, but pretty sure at the 24p and not 24pa setting you'd be using interlaced if you ingested the footage as is and that's what your working with. If you've processed the footage to be 23.98, then your timeline would be progressive. Again, not a DVX guy, but that's what I'd imagine you'd want.

its so hard to understand cause i here two different ways of doing it!!!!!

any one else as an idea on that?? So 24p normal should be capture interlaced and the compression of my timeline should be interlaced.
