Sepia - in post or acquisition?

Is there any advantage of using a sepia filter when you film instead of doing the sepia toning in post?

I know this can be an issue because of compression, but since I do plan on using an Andromeda DVX when I make the project requiring the Sepia tones, that issue goes away.

Any thoughts?

i'd imagine it prolly would have a little richer colors...but if you change your mind in post and u want regualr footage lol..your out of luck. So you better make sure that you need to film it in sepia :D

I would do some tests and see witch one you like best and go with that. Personaly I would do it in post. You have more control of it. So it is just not sepia, you can crush blacks change color curves and then make that image sepia gives you a whole nother option.
