Separate Audio Tracks

I am new to the DVX (one week to be exact), and I have my first real project, a wedding on Saturday. Is there a secret to extra two separate audio tracks from my tape in Vegas? I haven't been able to get two separate tracks when I go to edit in Vegas. I get the video track and the audio track. I was under the impression when I purchased the camera I would get one video track and two separate audio tracks. Maybe I have my camera setting incorrect. Can anyone help?

Re: Separate Audio Tracks

The audio track in Vegas is stereo. You have to split it into two, if you want two mono tracks to work with.

I can't remember off hand exactly how to do it, but it's basically: copy and paste the audio track so you have two, then right click and select whether you want one to be the right or left channel.
